The simple answer to the above question is "anything you want to". Chemistry is defined by many people as "the central science", meaning we ecounter aspects of chemistry in everything that we do. While many of our graduates have their sites set on professional health school opportunities (dental, medical, pharmacy, among others) these occupations are by no means the only possibilities or choices pursued by our graduates.

ACS Careers in Chemistry : This site includes career advice, discussion of "what chemists do", a career blog, salary surveys, ethical and professional guidelines (the chemists code of conduct), job finding resources, and job seeking preparation advice.
